I'm a personable young Australian man who can engage teenagers or young adults and help them academically and socially. I have studied Finance and Law at Sydney Uni, am undergoing further study in sustainable economics at Harvard, and have worked professionally in a range of fields. My passions/hobbies are, writing, music listening, mixing and production, camping and sports (football & basketball). I am a published author in small-medium magazines in Australia and am prone to joke telling. What to expect? I will come to understand the individual, what they enjoy, what they struggle with, and regularly ask them how they are. I hope what sets me apart is my relatable personality and ability to engage with others. From my experience with tutors, the ones I learnt the most from where those whom I could relate and look up to. Something I believe I can offer to anyone. My lesson approach will be flexible, allowing the individual to choose what we focus on from the syllabus and key skills. As we grow to understand each other, I will provide material that best addresses points of difficulty and passion. When relevant we will touch on broader, more sophisticated topics so that they may begin to understand things thematically, whilst regularly encouraging them to question and provide proof. I will review practice tests, essays and can help with revision and exam prep too.
