About Leon
I’m Leon Reid OLY, an Olympic semi-finalist and High Performance Coach with over a decade of experience working across elite sport and youth development. My background is sprinting at the highest level, but my coaching extends far beyond athletics. I work with footballers, rugby players, track athletes, and multi-sport performers, supporting both grassroots and academy pathways. I’ve also operated within professional environments where standards, detail, and accountability matter. What defines my coaching is clarity and intent. I specialise in: Speed and acceleration development Movement mechanics and coordination Age-appropriate strength & conditioning Long-term athletic development, not short-term fatigue I don’t run generic fitness sessions. Every programme is structured, progressive, and evidence-led, designed to help athletes get faster, stronger, and more resilient while reducing injury risk. Based in Brighton & Hove, I deliver gym-based and pitch-based coaching, working with youth athletes (10–18) as well as adults through personal training. Whether the goal is performance progression, physical robustness, or learning how to train properly, the standard stays the same. This is professional coaching, delivered properly. No shortcuts. No guesswork.

These classes are built for athletes who want real performance gains, not generic workouts. Every session is coached, structured, and progressive—designed to develop speed, strength, coordination, and resilience the right way. What the classes focus on Speed & Movement Mechanics Acceleration, sprint technique, deceleration, and change of direction. Athletes learn how to move efficiently and powerfully, not just run harder. Age-Appropriate Strength & Conditioning Technical lifting, bodyweight strength, core control, and stability. No ego lifting. Everything is scaled to age, maturity, and ability. Coordination & Athletic Development Balance, rhythm, timing, and body control—often the missing link in young athletes. This is what underpins long-term performance and injury reduction. Conditioning With Purpose Fitness is developed through quality movement and smart loading, not mindless fatigue.

Details
When you book a session, you’re paying for expert coaching and a professional setup, not just time on a stopwatch. What your fee covers Olympic-level expertise — coaching informed by competing and working at elite sport level Structured session planning — every session is programmed in advance, not improvised Individualised coaching — sessions adapted to age, ability, sport, and training age Facility access — gym hire or pitch use included where applicable Coaching equipment — sprint timing tools, strength equipment, cones, bands, and mobility tools Ongoing progression — athletes are tracked and progressed week to week There are no hidden costs. You don’t need to bring equipment, pay extra for facilities, or guess what to do between sessions. What makes this different I don’t chase fatigue — I coach movement quality and performance Strength work is age-appropriate and technical, not reckless Speed training is coached properly, not just “run fast” Small groups mean real coaching attention, not crowd control Parents and athletes book because they want long-term development, reduced injury risk, and coaching with real standards — not generic fitness sessions. If you want professional coaching that actually transfers to sport, this is it.
