About Cassidy-Rose

I am currently studying Education with English at university and have a genuine passion for helping young people succeed in their learning. Having experienced challenges in school myself and being part of the SEND system, I understand that every student learns differently and that traditional teaching methods do not work for everyone.

My own educational journey has given me valuable insight into the importance of adapting teaching to suit individual needs. This is why I take a flexible and personalised approach to tutoring, tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style. Whether a student benefits from visual resources, practical activities, independent learning, or more guided support, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where they can build confidence and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred around the belief that every child learns differently. I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs, strengths, and preferred learning style, ensuring they receive support in a way that works best for them. Whether a student learns through visual examples, hands-on activities, independent practice, or more structured guidance, I adapt my teaching methods to help them build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
Lessons are typically 30 minutes long. I believe short, focused lessons maximise engagement and retention, allowing students to absorb new information at a comfortable pace without becoming overwhelmed. Each session is designed to be supportive, interactive, and enjoyable while working towards clear learning goals.
I am currently studying Education with English at university, which has provided me with valuable knowledge of teaching methods, child development, and effective learning strategies. In addition, my own experience as a student within the SEND system has given me a strong understanding of the importance of adapting teaching to meet individual needs and learning styles.
My tutoring is available for children and young people aged 4–16. I can support students with English, literacy, reading, writing, comprehension, and general confidence in learning, adapting lessons to suit a range of abilities and educational needs.
