About Francesco

I'm a lifelong learner.

During COVID I attended a new course every 3 weeks. A lot of those where focus on learning how to teach. Another big part was about how to make meetings more engaging.

Thanks to that I have picked up a gazillion of techniques that I am happy to offer every day to my learners.

Italian is my native language and when in school I used to love studying Italian grammar. I feel therefore well equipped to teach bringing a mix of fun and structure.

About the lesson

I'm a professional trainer who has taught advanced collaboration techniques to hundreds of employees of large corporations. There I offer experiential lessons where people learn through play.

It's in that context that I have created my first Italian classes for small groups of colleagues where we learnt by sharing an Italian lunch together.

As the sessions that I'm offering here are purely online we won't be able to sit at the same table but the underlying principle of learning by doing and trying out unconventional exercises will remain.

For private lessons I tailor the experience on the learner, usually building the session in the moment with them based on their needs and preferences of the moment.

I always try to keep grammar to a minimum and insist to have the student doing most of the work as I believe that the person talking the most is also the person who's learning the most.

I generally don't give homework unless asked, in which case I'm very happy to assist.
