About Pearl
I am a Law student at the University of Malta with a lifelong love for English, writing and storytelling. I am the author of 'A Song of Sparrows and Starlight', and my creative works have been recognised in writing competitions and published in platforms such as ANTAE and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ’s CHIASMUS programme.
With voluntary work experience in helping young children ameliorate their English writing/homework skills, I hope to help students grow more confident in grammar, comprehension and written expression, while also encouraging them to enjoy English rather than fear it.
I am fluent in English, Maltese, French and can converse in A2 Italian.

My one-month English revision programme is designed to help Year 4 to Form 2 students build confidence before the start of the new academic year.
The programme includes two 1-hour online sessions per week for four weeks, running between 24 August and 24 September 2026. Lesson plans are guided by the relevant Maltese government English syllabi and adapted to each student’s year level, ability and needs.
The programme focuses on key areas of English: grammar, reading comprehension, speaking confidence and writing.
Each 1-hour lesson will include:
- A clear explanation of the topic of the week;
- Guided examples worked through with the student;
- Independent practice followed by correction and feedback;
- Short homework or revision tasks for the next session.
Worksheets and class materials will be sent to the parent/guardian’s email before each lesson for printing where necessary. Homework may also be submitted by email before the next session for review and online discussion.
