Hi, I’m Sean — a chess coach with over 2 years’ experience teaching kids and adults, from complete beginners through to confident intermediates. [Current rating is Rapid: 1850]
Plenty of people play chess well. Far fewer know how to teach it. I focus on making concepts clear and lessons structured, so improvement feels deliberate rather than accidental — with personalised exercises and progress tracking built into every course.

Deadly! Sean is sn excellent tutor. He has a wonderful manner with his student. He is teaching through games which is the way in which his student seems to learn best. He evaluates each session and changes his format based on what his student needs and the concentration span. Most importantly the student enjoys his company and looks forward to their sessions
Deadly! Sean has been teaching my son for almost 3 weeks now. I found that he was able to engage my son who is only 11 yrs old . He was also able to build a ln excellent rep with hi which is essential in a teacher student relationship. From Zaki’s pov he really enjoys learning with Sean and looks forward to his lessons.
