About Alexander
I am an undergraduate at Duke University majoring in Spanish. My mom is a Colombian immigrant and taught me Spanish when I was a baby. However, I grew up speaking English and had to relearn Spanish. I have travelled across the world, developing my fluency in Mexico, Puerto Rico, and here in the United States. These experiences have enabled me to teach others who were just learning how to speak Spanish. I teach with patience and excitement, and I hope to help others learn this language that I love so much!

I have provided in-depth Spanish lessons to new and intermediate Spanish speakers. I have also helped improve the grammar and vocabulary of advanced Spanish speakers as well.
My technique often focuses on the needs and abilities of my student. I handcraft each lesson to explain principles that can be applied in many situations. I never try to jam-pack lessons, which I know can be overwhelming. You can rest assured knowing that my lessons will take my students exactly at the pace they are comfortable at to become excellent Spanish-speakers.
