About Hilda
I have been teaching English to children, teenagers and adults for over 17 years, especially in individual classes. At this moment I am changing to do it through individual online classes as well. In addition to teaching English, I also have some years of experience in translation.

My main focus is - because it was my experience before I mastered it - in people who not only want to speak English, but want or need to write and speak it correctly but can not be placed at a particular level because they know too much to study some and they lack elements to study more advanced ones. My system is extremely personal; rather than using a specific method, "provoke" the student to detect errors or gaps in their knowledge and work from there through tasks and very specific explanations in which it is practiced until this knowledge becomes automatic. With my method, most of the time we will not need to be connected, I send the tasks to the student, I review them and I return them the next day. The student is not tied to a schedule. Once a subject is understood and practiced "on paper", the spoken practice is done.
