About Paula
I am a qualified English teacher, with a further diploma in specific learning difficulties. I have been tutoring students in English for 29 years. I love to see my students growing in confidence and skill. I am very patient and compassionate and like to develop a positive relationship with my students.

I am passionate about helping students to improve their English skills as these form the basis of all learning. I am a qualified English teacher with a further diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties such as Dyslexia. I tutor all ages and so structure the lesson according to the age and needs of the student. A 9 year old student would focus on phonics and fluency, while a 14 year old would focus on comprehension and vocabulary building for example. While an ESL student would focus on developing conversational English. Each student is unique.
