Hi! My name is Dave, and I’m a native French speaker from Québec. I’m a musician, writer and high school music teacher, and I love helping people fall in love with the French language. In my classes, I focus on real-life conversation, clear structure, and authentic expressions you’ll actually use. I’m patient, attentive, and I adapt to your rhythm, whether you’re a total beginner or want to refine your accent and vocabulary. Typical lesson structure (60 minutes)
5 min: check-in + goal of the lesson
10 min: review (vocabulary/grammar/common mistakes)
20 min: new focus (vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation)
20 min: guided practice (role-plays, dialogues, listening, short reading)
5 min: feedback + optional mini homework plan
