About Tasfia
Hello!
My name is Tasfia, and I am currently a high school student with 5+ years of experience in French, with 2 years of teaching experience. I am currently taking French B (Standard Level) in the International Baccalaureate, and have maintained a score of 96% throughout my experience. While I was learning French, I have found the grammar and vocabulary of the language can be quite challenging at times. However, by learning the language using an immersive, multi-faceted approach makes it easier - an approach that I find effective when teaching my students. I look forward to helping students who wish to immerse themselves in the language, or improve their skills!

During a typical lesson, I will teach basic grammar structures, vocabulary and help improve students’ listening and reading skills by listening to short French films and reading short excerpts. As homework, students will be assigned to write short paragraphs, letters, or record themselves in a conversation, which will be marked and returned to track their progress. I am also open to adjusting my lessons according to the specific needs of students!
