About Miruna
Do you want to spend your quarantine in a productive way?
If so, why not learn a new foreign language or improve your current level?
My name is Miruna and I am a Romanian-based German speaker.
Having attended a German school ever since I was 5, I completed my pre-university education in German and developed a passion for Goethe's language.
This led to my participation in several international German literature and poetry contests, eventually winning the 2nd price within the National German Olympiad.
My level - C1 - is attested by my German Sprachdiplom Stufe II.

About the lesson

I am offering online classes on Skype/Zoom to both students who are studying German within their formal education and want to supplement their classes, as well as to Beginner / Intermediate-level adults.
The content of the sessions is tailored based on individual preferences and needs. Some examples include:
- Grammar lessons (includes a set of exercises)
- Conversational German lessons (we decide on a topic in advance, preferably based on an article or a written piece that the student will read in advance, and which we comment on / debate this during the session)
- Virtual Bookclub (we choose a book that is adapted the learner's level and discuss a certain set of pages in each session)
- Talk like Ted (same principle as Virtual Bookclub, the difference lying in the nature of the supporting material, which is usually a Ted talk that we analyse and comment)
- Duolingo Support (if you started learning German on the aforenamed application and want to supplement its content with online lessions)

Deadly! Miruna is a pleasure to study with. She's approachable and reliable and her explanations are always clear and effective. I have limited time to work on my German and after only a few sessions I feel like I'm making good progress. Would recommend.
