About Sade
I’ll never promise perfection — I’m not convinced it exists. What I can promise is steady progress, growing confidence, and support that feels genuinely personal. Here’s who I am. I was identified as Gifted and Talented very early and even sat Year 6 SATs-type papers in Year 2. I achieved highly — 15 GCSEs, 5 AS Levels and 4 A Levels — yet university was where I learned something important: strong results don’t always come with learning that truly sticks. If you haven’t been taught how to understand, apply, and think independently, consistency can fall away when the structure changes. That’s why I tutor the way I do: I take what needs to be learned and turn it into something a pupil can connect to — breaking it down until it’s clear, making it memorable, and keeping it practical, so they can retain it and apply it independently (not just nod along and forget it). I aim to spark a love of learning — the kind of confidence-led curiosity I never truly had when I was in school. And to be honest, after leaving university I stalled for a few years. That’s what taught me how important confidence, structure and the right approach really are. I went on to build a successful career in SEN education recruitment, working closely with schools and families and progressing quickly — within five years I was in the top 15% of earners in London. Now I’m choosing to work closer to the pupil, helping them build not just grades, but the life skills that last: confidence, resilience, communication, independence, and self-management.

My lessons are engaging, interactive and personalised — designed to keep pupils interested, involved, and genuinely confident in what they’re learning. I tailor every session to the pupil’s interests, learning style and communication needs, so it feels relevant and motivating (not like another chore to survive). I focus on helping pupils excel in the classroom, succeed in exams, and develop skills that support them in future life — confidence, communication, independence, and resilience. What I specialise in English Literature (GCSE–A Level) I help pupils get deeply engrossed in texts by reframing themes and characters in a way that actually clicks. Many students can follow the plot but struggle to explain why it matters — especially with writers like Shakespeare, Austen, the Brontës and Tennessee Williams. My goal is for your child to speak about the text with the same confidence as they’d have reciting a Drake or Taylor Swift album — then channel that confidence into strong exam answers: clear arguments, well-chosen quotes, and sharp analysis. Theatre Studies (GCSE/A Level) I support students with performance analysis, evaluation writing and practitioner/theory content in a way that’s clear and accessible. We focus on communicating ideas with evidence, meeting assessment objectives, and writing with confidence — so their creativity shows up properly on the page. SEN Social Skills Coaching (coaching-based support, not therapy) Practical, real-world coaching to support confidence and communication in school settings — including reading cues (tone/body language/context), conversation skills, turn-taking, boundaries, handling misunderstandings, and role-play/scripts for common scenarios. Before booking Please note: before any sessions are booked, I send a short intro questionnaire so I can prepare and tailor the first session properly from the start. What you can expect An energetic, supportive session style with clear structure — and progress your child can feel (and you can see).
