About Daria

I am an Italian linguist, translator and interpreter with a MA in Conference Interpreting.
My native language is Italian, and I speak English and Russian fluently. I've been tutoring students (both children and adults) in Italian, English, History and Philosophy for about 5 years.
I have also worked as an English teacher and activity leader for an English school in Italy.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology has always depended on the individual needs of each student. Your priorities are important! Lessons are always tailored to your specific needs and requests.
If there is a need to improve oral skills, I provide stimulating topics and vocabulary in order to develop the student's ability to hold a conversation confidently. If a student needs to strengthen their grammar and writing skills, I provide exercises and help the student through them. The two approaches can, of course, be combined.
I have a thourough linguistic preparation that gives me great awareness of theoretical issues and complexities of language. On the other hand, I'm able to explain these concepts with a plain and straightforward language, tailoring my approach to your background and interests.
Last but not least, I enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere: I like my classes to be productive, but also interesting and fun!

Я с радостью вам помогу освоить итальянский язык. Предлагаю продуктивные и интересные уроки в дружественном, раслабленном атмосфере.
Глубокие теоретические знания по лингвистике и свободное владение русским языком позволяют мне определить самые типичные проблемы именно для русскоговорящих, а также понять самые тонкие нюансы итальянского. С другой стороны, я умею эти сложные понятия вам объяснить простым языком и с использованием конкретых примеров.
Я могу вам помочь и с грамматикой и морфологией, а также с развитием разговорной речи.
Последнее, но не по важности: я намерена сделать изучение языка как можно интереснее и веселее!
Я готова с вами поделиться своей любовью к языку и вывести ваш итальянский на новый уровень.
