Super tutor

Mirja is one of our best Algebra tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Mirja

I am a PhD degree holder in maths. I've been teaching maths (all subjects) for about 12 years. I have experience in private tutoring, in person and online. My students are mostly the ones who need help with homework and exam preparations.

About the lesson

My method of teaching is a friendly and individual approach to each student. I make a research plan for my student in order to track his or her progress. After the lecture and explanation I give students homework and a self-evaluating test.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Mirja.

Mirja's response
Feng is interested in learning math concepts that could explain how image processing works. I am happy that I could help him to get an idea about it in our first lesson.

Mirja is an excellent tutor: she is extremely knowledgeable, but still manages to break down concepts in a way that is clear and easy to ingest and never over-complicating. She is patient, and doesn't mind repeating the same concept if not clear, and always adding a bit of humour in the mix. We're in different countries now, but wish I could find someone like her here! Couldn't recommend her enough.

We went over problems about measure theory which was very difficult to me to understand. Mirja was able to explain it very well and finally I've passed my exam. Thanks Mirja.
