About Allison
My name is Allison Daly and I have been a special education teacher for 15 years. In that time I taught everything from preschool to 4th grade. I also have gone back to graduate school twice, first for my master's degree in Reading Specialization, then for my master's degree in Educational Leadership and I just received my Orton Gillingham certification. My passion is to teach students how to read. I live at the beach and have a dog. I also love running and run marathons, I am training for one this summer.

As a special education teacher I am skilled with tailoring my lessons to my learners' individual needs. I believe in using the Orton Gillingham multisensory method to teach reading, writing and spelling. My 15 years of teaching experience and writing lesson plans will help me bring my lessons to the learner with enthusiasm and differentiation.
