I obtained my Orton Gillingham training 8 years ago and have been tutoring grades K - 8 for 10 years. I've worked as an Educational Aide for 16 years supporting various academic needs including phonics, English writing support, math fundamentals, science, and social studies.

I create FUN and engaging lessons that focus on skills already developed and then on the next skill to be obtained. My students look forward to the game centered learning as they always want to beat me! We sequentially work through letter sounds, vowel sounds, vowel teams, diagraphs, consonant blends, rhyming, syllables, and sight words. I provide direct feedback with stretches and successes for parents.
