About Jian
I’m a qualified Osteopath based in Milan, Italy, with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Osteopathy from Victoria University in Melbourne. Alongside clinical practice, I tutor students studying anatomy, physiology, health sciences, osteopathy and clinical reasoning.
During my studies, I realised how overwhelming anatomy and physiology can feel, especially when large amounts of content are delivered in a short time. To overcome this, I developed my own study methods that made complex topics easier to understand and remember. Rather than relying on rote memorisation, I created visual notes, simplified difficult concepts, and connected ideas across body systems to build genuine understanding.
These techniques helped me achieve strong academic results and, more importantly, retain the knowledge well beyond exams. My notes became widely used among classmates, and I discovered how much I enjoyed helping others gain confidence in subjects they found challenging.
My teaching style is patient, supportive and practical. I provide structured notes, visual resources and clear explanations that help students organise information, improve clinical reasoning and feel more confident before exams and practical assessments.

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand health science concepts rather than simply memorising information. Subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology and neuroscience can feel overwhelming because of the volume of content, but when the core concepts are clear, learning becomes far more manageable and memorable.
As a practising osteopath based in Milan, I bring real clinical experience into every lesson. I help students connect theory with practice through clinical examples, simplified explanations and visual learning techniques that make complex topics easier to understand.
Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, with longer sessions available for exam preparation or intensive revision. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs and may include diagrams, concept mapping, clinical reasoning and case discussions.
I also provide structured study resources, including:
