About Paula
Paula is a 22-year old University of Bristol graduate. While she is a professional Bristol-based singer, Paula has a passion for languages, having grown up in Germany while speaking English at home and learning to speak fluent French at school. Paula has also taken part in many exchanges in France.
She believes being able to speak more than one language opens your horizons to other cultures and broadens your perspective to what language means to you.
Paula has had a lot of experience in teaching younger people. During school, she taught younger students English and helped them with their homework. During her work-experience in France, she worked in a nursery. Since graduating, she teaches singing and piano on a weekly basis.

Paula believes that following the learner's curiosity and interests brings the most exciting results. She tries to build trust with the pupil and create a safe space in which exploring a foreign language is made easy and inspiring. Paula is happy to plan the lesson around the student's interests, needs or capacity, but she can also take a lead on the lesson plan and structure. There is more than one way to discover a language!
