About Lucy
I am a native Chinese speaker living in the UK. I worked in Chinese university, government, media (magazines and online), creative industry and language schools for 27 years. I am dedicated, responsible and professional. I understand the challenges faced by non-native speakers. I can tailor my teaching to suit your needs and ability. I can tutor Chinese language and culture, etiquette and traditions, dos and don't for business people who need to demonstrate understanding of Chinese culture. I can support your commercial aspect of the language such as translation and help to develop your businesses in China. Since 1993 I worked in Wuhan University and Big Apple Language School. I worked in China Panorama, Hall of Fame, Timeout Beijing and Madame Figaro magazine as well as DFID British Embassy Beijing. I helped European artists during their residency in Chinese European Art Centre to realize their projects and to be interviewed by media. I worked in EIC Manchester and supported Chinese students in UK in every aspect of their lives/study in UK.
