About Oliver

I'm a top tutor well recognised for my achievements as an award-winning Oxbridge graduate, with a successful career beyond education.
I help students excel in their applications to UK universities, offering SuperProf students a discounted £59/h rate. I have a highly effective mentorship style and a strong track record, with students typically paying £150-200/h when hiring me through a company.

I have helped my students win offers at Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, UCL, KCL, Durham, and Warwick, as well as other fantastic universities. Having supported 100+ long-term students across 5 admissions cycles and 10 countries, my experience is much deeper than most tutors on this platform. Beyond those mentioned, I have also helped students secure places at Ivy League colleges from Bachelor's to PhD, and can support applications for humanities, social sciences and STEM subjects.

My academic track record is strong: this is usually the main reason students choose me. I achieved top in the Oxford entrance exam in my college and won multiple prestigious prizes. For example, I won the Isaiah Berlin Prize for Y2 exam results, warned multiple high firsts for innovative quant research projects, and a first for my final dissertation. In my spare time I ran an academic organisation with 70+ contributors across 12 timezones. I then went on to receive a full scholarship from a top 15 global university with an acceptance rate lower than Harvard, and founded a successful startup in China.
