About Kat
I'm currently a Visiting Research Fellow at Zurich University. I graduated from Magdalen College, University of Oxford (Double First Class) where I received 4 scholarships for academic merit, taking piano lessons at the Royal Academy of Music. I have Grade 8 Theory (Distinction) and passed my ATCL Piano Diploma aged 15 with distinction. I studied Music, French, German, Fine Art, and EPQ at A Level (5A*s), and gained 11A*s at GCSE. I studied law at the University of London (Distinction), and am a qualified barrister. I have experience tutoring all abilities from Year 7-13, as well as school classroom experience as a music teacher. My approach is student-centric; I will encourage you to let me know in advance of the lesson broad topics they wish to revise so that I can prepare possible tasks, but I am very flexible in my approach to suit your needs. I'm also willing to mark and provide feedback on essays etc. I believe that targeted practice makes perfect, and I will ensure that you have all the resources and practice materials you need to excel. I'm very friendly and patient - please do get in touch if you think I can help!
