About Miriam
I am a graduate of Oxford University with substantial teaching experience and a fun approach to learning. I can help you with Oxbridge Admissions, ELAT, GCSE English, and A-Level English Literature.
I have taught in multiple different contexts, from children's summer camps in Italy, to corporate business settings in Japan. I have experience supporting students one-to-one with university applications on the UNIQ Oxford Summer School (which I attended myself!) and have a thorough understanding of Oxbridge Admissions.
I have an excellent academic record myself (10 A*s at GCSE, A*A*AA at A-Level, 2.1 (68) at Oxford) and I know how to stretch students to attain their highest possible results.

I adapt my approach to each student's needs, but always make lessons as positive and fun as possible.
In our first session, we will discuss goals and collaboratively make a plan to achieve those goals. Throughout our sessions, we will assess progress and give each other feedback, to make the most of our time learning together.
English is an academically rigorous subject, but it's also a source of great joy, and so I hope our sessions will be simultaneously intellectually stimulating, valuable, and lots of fun!
