About Marnie
Hi there, I'm Marnie and I study English language and literature at Oxford University! English has always been a passion of mine, and to be able to help others learn more fruitfully and enjoyably is very important to me. I've helped younger students revise for English exams during secondary school, and have frequently been praised for my calm yet cheery approach.

Lessons will be great fun- honestly! Studying for GSCEs or A-Levels can seem like the most tedious endeavour, but my aim has always been to not only improve a student's accuracy, technique and confidence, but to also inspire a love of learning. When the dread of studying lessens, motivation increases, and I like to ensure my lessons are largely informative, but also a source of such motivation. A standard lesson will most likely include discussion, looking over questions and/or classwork, and consolidation of the issue, often in a broader context of the exam and subject in general.
