About Isobel
My favourite thing about teaching is connecting with young people. It is one of the best feelings to inspire confidence in pupils, see them improve, and help guide them to that 'lightbulb' moment when a tricky concept or poem suddenly 'clicks'.
I love English Literature, and this is one of the key reasons I decided to become a teacher. I particularly enjoy teaching Shakespeare and poetry, but there is something to love in all topics.

Kind and approachable, I specialise in breaking down complex or confusing concepts in accessible ways.
I have a track record of excellent results at GCSE and A level, and work hard to get to know the pupils I teach and what works best for them.
I have most experience teaching pupils age 11-18, and have experience teaching neurodivergent pupils. I am also equipped to tutor English Literature at University level and give essay feedback.
