About Michelle

Hello!

I'm Michelle and I'm completing my BA Law degree from Oxford University this year. Wherever you are, applying to university is no easy feat, but I am here to guide you step-by-step and help make that experience a bit less intimidating. I am proud to say that I have a track record of helping my past students successfully get into Oxbridge/Russell Group universities, and I hope that you can be next!

It would be my pleasure and privilege to enrich your life with the knowledge and skills that I have gained thus far through a competitive school and an even more competitive university. I am a big proponent of being both 'book-smart' and 'street-smart' and believe that a balance of both is what will satiate your academic and professional goals while keeping your heart and mind at peace. It is so easy to lose oneself in a heated environment, especially in light of recent pressures. As such, I will do my best to guide you towards your desired academic aims while supporting your wellbeing, just as I have been helping my students since 2019.

About the lesson

Though lessons are open to students of all ages and levels, my clientele comprises mainly those aged 16-18 (A-Level/IB/BTEC) and mature students applying to university.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes to best complement my teaching style. I am open to shorter/longer sessions (min. 30 mins/max. 90 mins) at the student's own request.

I adopt a tailored approach with each of my students to cater to your personal goals and capabilities. In our first session, we will get to know each other and work out a lesson plan that perfectly suits YOU!

Programme 1: University Admissions
(Suitable for Law and humanities subjects)
- Intensive LNAT/TSA preparation
- Simulated interview practice (Oxbridge)
- Writing an outstanding Personal Statement
- Step-by-step navigation of the UCAS process
Prices: £45 p/h + optional £120 for a copy of my Personal Statement.

Programme 2: General Law Tutoring
(Best suited for Sixth Form to Undergraduate levels)
- Oxford-level guided tutorials for any module you need support with (range: Constitutional, Criminal, Roman, Contract, Tort, Land, Jurisprudence, Trusts, Administrative, Medical Law & Ethics)
- Develop your essay-writing skills as well as your eye for analysis and logical reasoning
Prices: £35 p/h +FREE first copy of any of my past essays with feedback from Oxford professors

Programme 3: Polish, Proof-read & Edit
(Suitable for all levels and subjects)
- Send me your essays to proof-read and/or edit
- Optional tutorials to follow with (brutally honest) feedback on how you can improve your essay-writing skills
N.B. No to plagiarism - I cannot write your essays for you.
P2 Prices (per essay):
£25 (basic rate) proof-reading with simple commentary
£50 proof-reading with extensive commentary
£80 all-in-one pack with minimal editing (2 hours of work)
£150 train-wreck offer (4 hours of work)
£45 p/h optional follow-up tutorials with feedback.
