About David

My name is David and I’m an Oxford offer-holder who specialises in helping students through their A-levels, UCAT and Interview process.

I am predicted A*A*A* in Biology, Chemistry and Politics, scored a top 10% score (2230) in the UCAT and received 4/4 offers to study medicine at top universities across the UK.

Tutoring is a real passion for me as it gives me the opportunity to work with people who were recently in my position. Tutoring allows me to share my up to date experience and knowledge of the process, helping students to perform at their absolute bests in all stages of sixth form.

Having been through the A-Levels, UCAT and interviews process recently, I provide accurate insight into what universities and exam boards are really looking for. I help students get the most out of their studies and encourage them to look a bit further beyond their work so they can truly enjoy it!

About the lesson

AQA A-Level politics is an interesting, but challenging A-Level that invites students to take a deeper look at the ideologies, structures and mechanisms involved in government and politics. Having completed the A-Level, operating at an A* level for the duration of the course, I offer students in-depth, easy to understand explanations of all the content on the course. Having been taught by the author of the textbook, I help students access higher marks through understanding high quality case studies, essay technique and drawing synoptic links between the interlinking elements of the course.

A typical lesson will last 50 minutes, though my timing is entirely flexible and can work around the student.

I have around 2 years of experience working in a variety of tutoring environments, some in large groups, some 1 to 1.
