About Jessica
I am a student at the University of Oxford and have just finished my first year of undergraduate study of English Literature and Langauge. I have held a mentoring role for a number of years, fulfilling the role of head girl at my previous school as well as running a casual drama club and more formal revision sessions. I frequently return to my previous school to give advice on university applications as well as how to approach A-Level subjects and revision. I am currently aiding two students in particular who are undertaking the EPQ. I have also volunteered at a local primary school giving me exposure to the learning processes of all age groups.

I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and base much of my teaching ethics on much of my own experience of being in the classroom. My teachers at school encouraged debate and discussion in order to bring the subject to life in the mind of the student. I hold the belief that education should not only take place within the classroom but an open mind to learning should be adopted throughout.
