About Prisha

My name is Prisha, and I’m currently studying Law at Coventry University. But before I fell in love with legal reasoning, I fell in love with language — the rhythm of a sentence, the quiet power of a well-placed metaphor, and the way literature makes us sharper, more thoughtful versions of ourselves.

I teach English Literature because I believe it’s more than just a subject — it’s a way of thinking. Analysing poetry or unpacking a character’s motive trains the mind to be observant, articulate, and deeply human. That kind of thinking serves students in every area of life, not just the exam hall.

I want to help students approach literature with both curiosity and control — to write with elegance, think critically, and understand that their ideas have value. As a future lawyer, I know the power of a well-formed argument. And as a tutor, I want to pass that skill on to students who are ready to go beyond memorisation and learn how to truly think on paper.

About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring

I take a structured yet flexible approach to tutoring English, combining clarity, confidence-building, and high-level analysis. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop a strong, elegant command of language — in writing, discussion, and exams.

Each lesson is typically 60 minutes, though I also offer extended 90-minute sessions for students preparing for GCSEs or A-Levels. Sessions are fully tailored: from grammar and essay structure to close reading and interpretation of texts, I adjust my methods to suit the student’s goals and learning style.

I’m currently pursuing a Law degree at Coventry University’s London campus, with a strong academic background in English Literature and Essay Writing. I’ve worked with students aged 14–18 across different boards (AQA, Edexcel, CBSE), helping them refine arguments, strengthen vocabulary, and master literary techniques under timed pressure.

My lessons are ideal for:

GCSE and A-Level English Language or Literature students
International students needing help with academic writing
Younger learners seeking to build foundational skills with confidence
