About Emilie
My name is Emilie, I am a second-year student at the University of Oxford studying German and Italian. I love to help students become more confident in their subject and I understand that difficult concepts in any subject can be much easier to grasp through a one-on-one conversation with someone who has experienced the same learning curve. I love my subject and am passionate about helping students enjoy theirs more by providing a personal experience that will assist their learning and deepen their understanding of school teaching.

I have been tutoring for 3 years, teaching 11+ students (English and Maths), GCSE and A-Level students (German and Italian). I study German and Italian at the University of Oxford, and am experienced in both the study of literature and language, including essay-writing, translation, grammar, reading and speaking.
During the lesson (1 hour), I focus on my students' difficulties in the subject, setting and working towards goals for improvement. Together with my student, we specify more challenging areas in order to prioritise areas of learning.
