About Charlotte
In terms of my background, I have a BA Hons degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford University, and an MFA in Acting from LAMDA, with a focus on classical text.
I have a 100% track record of helping my clients to achieve A* and A grades in their exams, and I'm confident that I can make a serious improvement to any student's grades.
Alongside tutoring, I work freelance as a writer and documentary producer, and have worked for National Geographic, Netflix and the BBC. I've recently returned to teaching after a hiatus, having worked full-time in film for the past few years, but I have a wealth of experience- I've been tutoring for over a decade.

I'm driven to teach because I love sharing my lifelong passion for literature and drama, and I've been told by previous students that it's contagious! As a tutor I am very friendly and approachable, but I also know how to keep a student focused: I have a 100% track record of helping my clients to achieve A* and A grades in their exams, and I'm confident that I can make a serious improvement to any student's grades.
In terms of my background, I have a BA Hons degree in English Language and Literature from Oxford University, and an MFA in Acting from LAMDA, with a focus on classical text. My particular strengths are helping students to demystify set texts they might be struggling to understand, to find more specificity in their analysis, to structure essays properly, and to really hone in on the detail of language (in my experience, this is the most important secret to achieving higher marks!). I have also worked with students on their UCAS applications and personal statements and have helped applicants gain places at their first-choice universities, including Oxbridge.
