Nice to meet you, I’m Em!
I recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in English Language and Literature. I completed my A-levels from home, receiving three A*s which allowed me to go on to study at Times Higher Education’s no.1 university in the world.
I am very passionate about the English language, linguistics, and literature, and would therefore love to help you (or your child) with your studies.

It can be difficult to learn under the current education system with its one-size-fits-all learning approach!
Personally, I hated and struggled with English until I decided to teach myself about Macbeth a couple of months before my GCSE Literature exam.
With me, our lessons will be personalised and catered to your learning styles. I hope to inspire you with an interest in the creative uses of English and in the works of the amazing authors that you are studying at school.
We will prepare for your exams by looking closely at context, history, terminology, reading comprehension, exam technique, writing skills, and more.
As I am focusing on Key Stage 2 and GCSE, my lessons are aimed at those who are 6-16 years old. However, if you are outside of this bracket and would like support, perhaps with A-levels, send me a message and we can work something out!
