About Rosie
Hello! My name is Rosie and I'm a third year PhD student in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on cognitive development in young children, but I am also interested in a range of other topics in Psychology. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Developmental Linguistics (i.e. language development) from the University of Edinburgh. I'm also a CELTA qualified teacher of English as an additional language. I have experience planning and leading introductory Psychology courses for students aged 13-18, as well as leading small group research-based tutorials for Oxford University students. Prior to starting my PhD, I spent time working as a research assistant in Psychology, teaching English to speakers of other languages and working with children with additional needs.

Psychology is by nature a scientific subject so at all levels there will be a focus on understanding and critically evaluating evidence from research papers.
