About Alex
I am a second year undergraduate studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at New College, Oxford. I have tutored for 4 years, predominantly preparing students for the scholarship exams at Westminster, St Pauls and Eton. Last year I successfully prepared students for PPE and Philosophy and Theology interviews at Oxford.
I attended St Paul's School (2008-2015) where I was awarded 11A* at GCSE. I then transferred to Westminster School for 6th form (1 of the 5 new boys admitted) where I studied English, History, Philosophy and Maths.
I also have significant experience in competitive debating winning competitions such as 'LSE Schools' and the West London Debating Competition.
I am an approachable and relaxed tutor and I really enjoy helping other students learn. I am also happy to provide references from parents and students I have tutored before.
I do a lot of acting in my spare time, having performed in 6 plays in Oxford. I also play football for my college team and am the editor of a satirical magazine.
