About Maeva
I am a french student living in Edinburgh. I've always been interested about traveling and discovering new cultures and places as well as understanding the world we live in. Therefore, I am really passionate about History and Sociology as well as Environmental issues. I also like drawings and all kind of creative arts.
I have a bachelor in History from Sorbonne University of Paris and I am currently doing an online Master on Heritage Management and Sustainable Tourism.
I am currently a French Tutor in a language cafe and I do privates lessons as well. I have intermediate and advanced students but beginners are more than welcome!

I always thought that our languages classes in school were boring while there is so many ways to teach a language in a more enjoyable way ! I like to use other materials than books such as music, movies, podcasts and I will always choose them depending on the topics that you find interesting.
As I am really interested about history, environmental issues, travels and humanities in general, I tend to focus on these subjects so you won't be only learning words but tools to understand French culture. I will always based the lessons on your interests to make it more entertaining and interactive.
We will work on grammar and vocabulary but we will also work on the pronunciation and just speak french as much as possible, that is the best way to learn !
