About Paula
I was/am an architectural designer, a children's book author, and did reconnaissance for the Department of Transportation for Historic Properties along major highway arteries in Kansas. I really was a cowgirl, 'kinda' ', because I lived on big cattle ranch for 30 years of my adult life, though I am originally from Kansas City.

I want to engage you. I don't have any methodologies as I do not have a teaching certificate, though I have taught in the community college system and volunteered and substituted in the grade school system. So, it's basically, (partially) 'turn off the ipad and phone' and we will both motivate each other to create the best activities based on your interests. Yes, I have some traditional lesson plans in the coffers and we will use those, but I like to get creative because the best results happen when an assignment connects with you and your life.
