I have worked in education for many years. My most recent post was as a Literacy Curriculum Lead for a multi-site school in the Midlands (England). I am passionate about education and helping people to improve their knowledge and skills from their own starting points.

I have many years experience at teaching English in accordance to the English National Curriculum. I have a special interest in the Literacy curriculum and believe that fluent reading and writing is fundamental to life.
I always tailor my lessons the meet the individual needs of my students. I believe that this approach keeps your learning relevant to yourself which will help you reach your goals quicker.
A typical lesson will spend time looking over any misconceptions in previous learning. I will then outline the aims and outcomes for the session. The lesson may then involve hands on activities, conversational opportunities, comprehension tasks to name a few. I can cater my lessons to a great variety of people;
*Those wishing to improve their spoken English skills.
*People with additional needs who want additional support with their literacy skills.
*UK school goers wanting additional input that compliments their school learning.
