About Hind

Hello! I'm Hind, a passionate and dedicated tutor with 2 years of experience in helping students achieve their academic goals. I hold a M.S. in physiology with a concentration in clinical neuroscience from CWRU Medical School and 2 B.A.s in biology with a concentration in behavioral biology and psychology. My mission is to make learning engaging, accessible, and effective for each of my students.

I believe that every student has the potential to excel with the right guidance and support. My tutoring approach is tailored to meet individual learning styles and needs, ensuring that concepts are not only understood but mastered. Whether it's preparing for exams, tackling challenging homework, or building foundational skills, I'm here to assist you every step of the way.

I offer both in-person and online tutoring sessions to accommodate different preferences and schedules. With a patient and encouraging demeanor, I strive to create a positive and productive learning environment. Let's work together to unlock your full academic potential!

About the lesson

As a tutor, I am dedicated to breaking down complex topics into digestible concepts, recognizing the unique backgrounds and learning needs of each student. Beyond knowledge acquisition, I acknowledge the intrinsic link between basic needs and receptivity to learning, cultivating an atmosphere of respect, receptiveness to feedback, kindness, and interactivity that resonates any teaching environment.

Embracing innovative teaching methodologies, such as the flipped tutoring approach, I empower students to embark on their learning journey before our tutoring sessions.

At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the cultivation of curiosity and interest in the subjects taught. I aim to have my students not only master and succeed in their respective subject but also leave with passion and respect for the subject.

With a strong background as a Master of Science graduate in Medical Physiology with the equivalent of Summa Cum Laude honors, a Bachelor of Arts graduate in biology and psychology, and a IB diploma graduate, I believe that I have the mastery required of a stem educator.

All my educational pursuits focused on calculus, biology, psychology, and physiology. In addition to my mentorship experience, I am confident in my ability to do just that.
