About Bertie
I am on my gap year having completed french, business and politics at A level standard, at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. I am going to the University of Reading to study French and International Relations. My hobbies include socialising, field sports and meeting new people! I am through and through a Francophile and would love to share my passion for learning languages with as many people as possible!

I would approach each topic, whether it is social history in France, or grammar, by starting with a full explanation, and then repetition to really improve the understanding. Then with periodic and surprise quizzes to really emphasise and ingrain the information! On top of this, I can also offer just verbal lessons to just improve general speaking lessons to get the student up to par with general conversation, which I believe is the most important part, as really that’s why we learn other languages, to be able to speak to others in their native tongue!
