About Lauren
Dedicated and patient tutor with a real passion for history, international relations and art.
I don't take one approach to tutoring and can change my style based on a student's needs and preference. I would encourage students to bring work with them or study materials that we can go through in the session.
One of my skills has always been essay writing. Over the course of my education, I have learned tips and tricks on how to structure essays to ensure the marking criteria is always hit and that the blank page is a lot less daunting.
My background: I have an MA in Conflict, Security and Development and a First class BA Hons in History, specialising in modern British and Middle Eastern history.
Since graduating, I did a short stint in finance before moving sector to work for international charities in Myanmar and London.
