About Spencer
I am a working professional with a background in Marine Science and Emergency Medical Response. I spent years working in Thailand as a marine conservation biologist, where I published several academic papers, including the descriptions of new species of sea slug (Nudibranchia) to science. I trained more than four hundred marine conservation biologists as Conservation Divers, through the non-for-profit education program I helped develop alongside my colleagues. I worked as a marine science educator for eight years in Thailand, and have taught people from many different cultures, ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about the planet that we live on and love to share in that passion for knowledge with my students.

My classes will cater to my student's syllabus, covering explanations and in depth discussions around the course materials therein. A typical lesson plan will be made after we discuss the learning expectations of the student and the incorporate the goals of the student themselves.
We will then seek to address the greatest challenges for the student in regards to the course material, and address those challenges through a series of heuristic tools.
