About Norah

I’m an English tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cultural Studies. I enjoy teaching English in a way that feels modern, thoughtful, and connected to real life. Language becomes more meaningful when it helps us understand global conversations.

About the lesson

My teaching approach brings English learning to life through the joy of food and cooking. Food inspires conversation, creativity, and cultural discovery. In my lessons, students learn practical vocabulary about ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.

We practice describing recipes and cooking steps in clear and simple English. This helps students improve their speaking skills while learning useful expressions. Conversations often become lively and fun.

I also include real-life situations such as reading menus, ordering meals, and discussing dishes from different cultures. These activities help students feel confident when travelling or dining out. Sharing food stories also makes lessons personal and memorable.
