About Mahmoud
About Me My name is Mahmoud Yakoub, and I am a passionate IT and Robotics educator with a Bachelor's in Communications and Electronics Engineering and currently pursuing a Master's in Web Technologies. I bring years of experience teaching in IB schools, where I integrate innovative, hands-on learning strategies to make programming and robotics accessible and engaging. I proudly led four school teams to secure the top four positions in Iraq’s National VEX Robotics Championship, with one team qualifying for the VEX World Championship in the U.S. I also created the ProMath competition in the Kurdistan Region—blending math with coding—and guided students to win global awards in the Codeavour AI Challenge. Beyond competitions, I specialize in 3D design and printing, department coordination, and developing interdisciplinary tech curricula. My mission is to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators through creative STEM education

My lessons are interactive, student-centered, and designed to make STEM education engaging and practical. I specialize in teaching programming (Python, Scratch, Arduino) and robotics using platforms like VEX, LEGO EV3, and microcontrollers. One of my core strengths is designing customized VEX Robotics training programs for students who are interested in competing at national and international levels. I help students build their technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills by guiding them through real-world robotics challenges, simulations, and competition-style tasks.
Each lesson is structured with clear objectives, hands-on activities, and continuous feedback. I also integrate project-based learning to keep students motivated and confident in their skills. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, my lessons adapt to your pace and interests. My ultimate goal is not just to teach concepts, but to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for innovation and technology
