About Rosie
During my fifth year of high school, I took up the opportunity to volunteer in a local primary school where I taught French to the lower school. To do this, I had to prepare activities for the children, gage their progress and adapt the activities to suit their needs. This was an excellent experience and it was wonderful to be able to see the children’s development. As the head teacher of the school said, “Rosie arrived promptly every week to support the group develop their use of basic French vocabulary. She demonstrated reliability and commitment to the group. Rosie was polite and professional in her appearance and manner.”
Furthermore, I undertook work experience at a school in France in the summer of last year which I organised on my own behalf. As well as communicating in French to the staff at the school and with my host family, I prepared presentations and activities for the classes, all of which had different abilities. I have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills which I used in France and continue to use regularly.

Having received straight As from National 5 to Advanced Higher and Excellence Awards for my hard work and dedication to both subjects, I am an extremely motivated person.
