About Lily
I am a committed piano tutor with over 12 years of experience helping students from school, college, and professional backgrounds develop their musical skills and confidence. I believe that learning piano is more than just technique—it is about creativity, self-expression, and enjoyment. My teaching methodology focuses on patience, clear communication, and personalized instruction.
I assess each student’s abilities and goals, then create lessons that strengthen fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading. I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide well-rounded musicianship.
Lessons are engaging, interactive, and often include song practice, improvisation, and performance preparation. I guide students to build confidence, maintain consistent practice routines, and stay motivated. My aim is to create a positive, inspiring, and supportive learning environment where students can enjoy learning piano and reach their full potential.

My teaching methodology combines engagement, creativity, and personalization. I believe every student is unique, and learning piano should reflect their individual style, goals, and interests. Through open communication, I understand each student’s aspirations and challenges, which allows me to design lessons that are tailored, meaningful, and motivating.
I place a strong emphasis on creativity, encouraging students to improvise, compose, and explore a variety of musical genres. This not only strengthens their technical skills but also nurtures a personal connection to music. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to match the student’s pace, learning style, and level, making learning enjoyable and effective.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. By combining practical skills with theoretical understanding, students gain a well-rounded musical foundation. My goal is to provide lessons that build technical ability, expressive confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.
