About Brunda

I’m Brunda, pianist and teacher with over eight years of experience guiding students aged 5 to 30. My journey with the piano began as a simple class and grew into a lifelong discipline, one that taught me focus, patience, and creative expression. Teaching, for me, is an extension of that journey. I believe music isn’t just a skill—it’s a language that reveals who we are and how we connect with the world. Through structured yet expressive lessons, I help students not only play accurately but listen deeply, think musically, and develop confidence in their own sound. I teach to pass on what the piano taught me: precision with heart, discipline with joy, and the courage to create something truly one’s own.

About the lesson

Play (Hands-on Learning) • Students start with short tunes from familiar songs before reading full notation. • This builds confidence, ear training, and connection to the piano. • Use color-coded or pattern-based exercises to make finger movement intuitive. Feel (Musical Expression) • Introduce emotion-based playing by asking how a melody feels and changing tone accordingly. • Encourage small improvisations or rhythm experiments to build creativity and awareness. • Use rhythm games, clapping exercises, or duets to connect theory with practice. Understand (Structured Foundation) • Connect songs to theory and technique: notes, scales, dynamics, and posture. • Blend in Trinity exam preparation naturally, focusing on steady progress. • Use clear milestones such as “Play your first song with chords” or “Read your first sheet.”
