About Jackson
I am a piano teacher with over nine years of experience guiding students toward success in music exams, college auditions, and professional performances. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano, which gives me a strong foundation in both technique and musical expression. My teaching approach is personalized, focusing on each student’s strengths and areas for growth. I work closely with learners to set clear goals and create achievable practice plans. I believe in making lessons motivating and engaging, so students stay inspired while improving their skills. I cover a wide range of styles, from classical and jazz to contemporary and popular music. Technique, sight-reading, ear training, and expressive interpretation are all integral parts of my lessons. I also provide guidance on performance preparation, helping students build confidence for exams and auditions. Every lesson is structured yet flexible, blending structured practice with creative exploration. My goal is not just to teach piano, but to nurture a lifelong love of music. I enjoy seeing students develop both skill and artistic expression, and I celebrate each milestone along the way.
