Merchy has been helping my 13 year old son with Maths for the past few months. She is always punctual and very professional. She has excellent communication skills both in English and in Spanish. I have known Mercedes Groba since August 2013, during which time I have had a few Spanish lessons, on a 1-1 basis.
I came to studying Spanish later in life, - took an A level in 2010 (grade A), and I am still very fond of the language, having worked in Spain a few months. Back in the UK, I tried to keep it alive and thus looked around for a teacher.
I am very happy to say that Mercedes has been a brilliant teacher for me. Not only is she very patient, but also her explanations are both thorough and imaginative. She speaks well, clearly and seems to have the ability to ,,paint,, well with words. Her examples are always interesting and illustrate a point.
Also her pitch to my level of Spanish is most accurate. As a teacher she is dynamic, engaging and ..fun.
I know she values punctuality, and she has been most straightforward in her dealings with me (tuition fee, time and place, timing of lessons,etc).
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mercedes, she would be, in my opinion, a valuable addition to your team, as she has a mature outlook and takes her responsibilities in earnest. She is also pleasant and humorous, which surely cannot hurt.
