About Vaanya
I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. My passion lies in helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. I believe every singer can connect deeply with songs and express their true emotions. I specialise in teaching styles like Pop, Indie, R\&B, and Contemporary Worship. Breath control and expressive phrasing are at the core of my lessons, alongside a strong focus on vocal health. I also provide live performance coaching to prepare you for the stage. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen performer, or an aspiring recording artist, I tailor lessons to fit your unique needs. I create a supportive environment where you feel safe to explore your voice. My goal is to help you find your authentic sound. Together, we’ll work on technique and stage presence so you can perform confidently. I’m excited to guide you on your musical journey. The Crossover Artist thrives on versatility, adapting vocal tone and dynamics to suit classical, pop, and jazz styles. They shift seamlessly between the powerful resonance needed for classical, the rhythmic phrasing of pop, and the syncopation and swing of jazz. Pitch control and vocal agility are strengthened through daily exercises tailored to each genre’s demands. Both personas benefit from modern technology. Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) allow recording and layering vocals for self-review. Metronomes build timing consistency, vital for jazz’s complex rhythms and pop’s steady beats. Pitch training apps provide instant feedback, helping fine-tune intonation across genres. By combining traditional technique with tech tools, singers track progress efficiently and adapt skills dynamically. This approach fosters confident, expressive performances—whether leading a church choir or crossing genre boundaries on stage.
