About Megan
I am a traveller.
A teacher.
A mother.
An optimist.
I have 2-year-old twins that keep me busy but my passion for teaching remains the same as it was 10 years ago when I first started teaching in Japan.
I currently live in Australia but have lived and worked in Japan for 7 years.
I have experience teaching in Japanese schools, Australian schools, small language schools and online.
Teaching gives me energy and understanding life from different points of view brings me joy.

After conducting a needs-based analysis of my students I create lessons that are both Communicative and Task-Based.
Lessons can vary from 30mins for young children to 1hr for older students.
Lessons for children include games, role play, pictures and writing activities.
Lessons for older students and adults can include preparing for IELTS, essay writing, academic English or English for Specific Purposes.
